These exercises are to help integrate your child's primitive reflexes. Specific exercises will be given to your child by Dr Melissa following their initial examination.
Make sure to work with Dr Melissa before starting or advancing any of these exercises. If you have Diastasis Recti, please roll to your side to get to and from the floor. If you notice downward pressure, discomfort, or pain during any exercise, it means you are not ready for that exercise yet. Also, if you notice any bulging or doming of your abdomen during exercise, you may need to go down to an easier exercise. Dr Melissa will give you specific exercises to do at your in office visit.
